Is anyone else out there as terrible as I am at talking about themselves??
Anytime anyone asks me to write a bio or "'about me" blurb and I totally freeze. Do you want my height and weight? All those letters that could go after my name? Turn on's and turn off's?! Ugh! I'm overwhelmed at the mere idea.
So that's why I asked someone else to do this for me. HA! I gladly delegated this shit. I asked one of the most genuine professionals whom I've ever had the pleasure of working with (who has also become one of my dearest friends - because duh I love surrounding my self with authentic af folks) to write a few words. I figured she'd be able to objectively describe me to my readers better than I ever could. Here's what she came up with:
Isn't she the sweetest?! (Thanks a bunch, Liz Briggs Gruebel! You're my favoritest <3 )
To be a little more specific, I have been totally immersed in learning, educating, and helping others understand their (and their partners!) bodies, feelings and desires for the better part of my adult life. (Find out why I got into this field here) This includes spending over 15 years as a college student like a CRAZY PERSON (I've got myself a really cool Master's in Human Sexuality and am in pursuit of that PhD); spending lots of time working with college students one-on-one, in groups, and in the classroom; providing workshops and training to parents, adolescents and professionals; and having provided coaching and consultation to countless peeps over the years as a sexuality expert.
Sex, Love & All the Feels is the culmination of my passions - with the goal of bringing better sex and feels to all of you out there on the interwebs!
In addition to delving into sex and relationship questions and struggles here on the blog (hopefully some of yours! ask me anything!), I am available for speaking engagements, workshop facilitation, professional training, brand representation, freelance writing and personal coaching. Woo!
